Manufactured by Mr.40's, our TRUNKLIFT KITS replace all manor of stay-up poles and worn-out stock hardware. TRUNKLIFTS will raise most trunklids after the latch is released, and then hold it in the highest possible position until you are ready to close it. Most kits are engineered to use the available stock holes with very little installation time required. All TRUNKLIFTS contain exstension force gas struts designed to fit each application, custom made brackets, stainless steel Allen-Head hardware, ballstuds with nylocks and illustrated instructions. Some kits contain AVK industrial nutserts with stainless steel hardware for one-side surface mounting.

 Yes we've been making TRUNKLIFT KITS since 1985 now and some of the older ones are starting to get droopy. You can bring your decklid up to snuff with a new pair of gas shocks. Call us with your make and model car and we will do the rest. All pairs are $79.00 plus shipping and handling. Struts include new nylon ball sockets.

 

 

  'HOODLIFT KITS'  '39-'40 Fords

Raises the hood on '39 Deluxe and all '40 model Fords, plus our newest kit now for '40 and '41 Ford pickups.  Very easy to mount with clear instructions.  Gas springs clear most A/C and heater hoses.  Some hood hinge adjustment may be necessary for proper hood alignment.

'HOODLATCH KITS'

      Now you can control the security of your underhood valuables with our latest 'Hoodlatch Kits'. Kits include 18g. steel hoodplate, 18g. steel grille shroud, top-quality German made latch assembley, billet aluminum pull cable and stainless steel mounting hardware. Comes ready to bolt into your hood. This is a partial fabrication project, you must mark and cut the opening for the reciever part of the latch in the grille shroud so the kit will match up to the way your hood is aligned. This kit also allows you to bolt down the crome hood ornament handle so it doesn't get broken off.
