Build History...This SuperRod is a project that has been in the works for over twenty years, engineered and built by Dave Crowfoot of Crowfoot Tool & Manufacturing out of Santa Ana California. Dave Crowfoot is a Master Machinist with a history of supplying specialty tools, parts and equipment to companies and organizations such as QVC and NASA. Mr. Crowfoot designed and manufactured specialty parts for use in the NASA Space Program. Many of the parts as well as the chassis itself are "1-OFF, non-duplicated" items built at Crowfoot Tool & Manufacturing. Many of the "1-OFF" items that Dave did not manufacure that are on the car were built and assembled by well known builders and mechanics such as Art Chrisman, Dick Holt, Gene Mooneyham, Don Hoffman and Steve Christman.

This car can be drivin on the street or strip. It was timed in at 11.70 seconds in the 1/4 mile at 121mph with a carburated 427ci motor. The 750 horsepower Art Chrisman built motor currently in the car has not been drag strip tested.

"The build talents of Dave Crowfoot went into overdrive on this '40. Call it what you want... Custom or a Hot Rod, Street Rod, Race Car, or Trailer Queen whatever...this car could win awards in NHRA, NSRA, GOODGUYS, etc., so we're calling it a 'Super Rod'. Dave wanted to build a '40 that  he could drive to cruise night, local car shows and win drag races. We here at Mr.40's think Dave did an amazing job."

Mr. Crowfoot and his '40 are currently located in Palm Springs California. If you have questions about the car or wish to make an offer you may reach Dave via Mr.40's at 1-559-875-1222 or email at mr40sfatstuff@aol.com.
